Dickies to Exhibit at INTERPROTEC 2015

Dickies, the internationally renowned workwear brand, will be exhibiting some of their fantastic new products for 2015 for the first time at INTERPROTEC (International Fair for Personal Protective Equipment, Health and Safety at Work) on 19-21st May at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

INTERPROTEC is designed for all those who deal with health and life protection at work. For manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and services to protect health, safety and hygiene this is the only opportunity in the Czech Republic, where they can offer their products mainly to professionals from manufacturing companies and specialized institutions.

Employing the latest developments in fabric technology and manufacturing techniques, Dickies’ high performance workwear is suited for even the harshest working environments.

Dickies will be showcasing new products including its new trouser for 2015 which include the Eisenhower premium trouser with a mix of the premium fabrics, rip stop and cordura, for increased durability and the clever design of pocket details (zip off holster pockets). The fit has been ergonomically designed to be able to move and provide maximum comfort.

Dickies has joined forces with KONG® offering the new range of Impact gloves. These gloves are built off of the KONG® chassis, carry the Dickies® name and cover jobs both “on” and “off” the drillhead: from rigger glove with a Duraclad® rope channel that offers 8x durability where the riggers need it most, to Deck Hand Cut 5 glove that can withstand just about anything.

Dickies have also recently added a new range of safety glasses for 2015, all with CE marking approval. Dickies lightweight safety glasses have an economical wrap-around single lens, which provides full panoramic view, an integrated nose piece, soft, non-slip rubber temple tips. The lenses are coated for superior scratch resistance and provide 99.9% protection against harmful UV rays.

Dickies cover specs have straight temples and an integrated nose piece, which is ideal for general indoor applications, that require impact protection from excessive glare, provide 99% protection from harmful UV-A and UV-B rays and 100% scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses.
Dickies wrap-around safety glasses have rubber temples; offer a comfort-fit with a sporty dual lens style and the polycarbonate lens provides unrestricted vision protection against 99.9% of harmful UV rays.
Following on from the popular two tone range is the two-tone high visibility range, which includes a jacket, trousers, bib, T-shirt and waistcoat. The new styles are all certified to the new high-visibility standard EN ISO 20471:2013.

The new Dickies Pyrovatex coverall offers an FR treated cotton, to provide maximum heat and flame protection. An extended collar offers extra protection and coverage around the throat and neck area, whilst the reflective tape (also FR) provides visibility in low light working conditions. There are side access pockets, which will allow you to reach your clothing underneath and have access to your pockets etc.

Dickies has also introduced 14 new styles of safety footwear and improved a further six styles. New lines in PU/Rubber Sole have excellent shock absorption and are heat resistant to 300 degrees; they are high slip resistant and have non clogging sole patterns; extra comfort is offered with moisture wicking lining and a removable footbed.

A firm favourite is the Medway safety hiker; it is a distinctive safety boot featuring the qualities that have contributed to Dickies reputation in this field of PPE, comfort, durability and protection. The heel is energy absorbing easing the punishment of busy feet on rough ground.

Safety footwear standard EN345 has been superseded by EN ISO 20345 and the whole Dickies footwear range has been re-certified to the new standard EN ISO 20345:2011.
