Dickies help cricket club stumped for sponsorship

Dickies, the workwear manufacturer and supplier, based in Radstock, Somerset have come to the aid of a local cricket club who were looking for some sponsorship to allow them to be properly equipped for the summer season.

Stratton-on-the-Fosse Cricket Club secretary Dave Travis was bowled over when Maurice Morton, sales and marketing director for the company agreed to provide badge-embroidered shirts for the team, which he recently handed over to club officers.

The Club was established in 1920 and has close links with Downside School, the independent Catholic co-educational boarding school at Radstock, near Bath, where teachers and pupils regularly play for its teams. Away games are played in May/June and home games at the glorious Downside playing fields when the pupils are on their summer break in July/August.
