Dickies Workwear is now launching a special retail line of work clothing for professional use in tough everyday industrial environments. What makes Industry300 special is that it has been developed in close dialogue with customers from the German-speaking world. Not only is the result very impressive, it is also setting new trends for quality and function.

A surprisingly large number of new ideas, such as jacket pockets with integrated key carabiners or long mobile phone pockets, in which even small mobiles remain ready to hand, show how much know-how and attention to detail has gone into the new collection. “We focused on our customers’ needs and requirements when developing Industry300”, says Marcel Hlawatsch, Sales Manager at Dickies Workwear Germany, commenting on the successful industrial line. To this end, functional details and styles were painstakingly optimised in fit/wear tests lasting several months.

An above-average abundance of reinforced stress points, eighty on every single pair of bib and brace overalls, ensure exceptional wear resistance and durability, and this robust industrial line also mostly has three seams rather than two. With colour coordinated expansion pleats, pocket flaps and typical contrasting seams, Dickies has also optically stayed true to its familiarly casual and trendy style. The new collection, which is available in all the big German stores, includes bib and brace overalls, jackets, trousers and utility vests in five different colour combinations. Another interesting feature is that even large sizes can be obtained at no additional charge.

All clothing items are made from easy-care blended fabric (65% polyester and 35% cotton) weighing 300 g/m2, which is particularly soft and skin-friendly. According to the manufacturer, only pollutant-tested textiles according to the Öko-Tex standard 100 (Test No. 12583) are used. Industry300 is distributed exclusively via specialist retail outlets who can offer good product advice. Further information or catalogues can be requested under www.dickiesworkwear.de or GERMANY@dickies.com.
